The Meaford Harbour has a significant parkland area, municipal marina and community pavilion with plenty of parking for cars, boats and RV’s.

The Harbour Marina features an administration and comfort station providing all the amenities of a big marina. The harbour office, located at 3 St. Vincent Street, contains the office with a beautiful space for the boaters to utilize. It is complete with washrooms, showers, and a beautiful lounge for the boaters to take in the breathtaking scenery.

We invite you to come and stay with us for a day, a week or for the whole summer. Meaford Harbour has everything you need within walking distance, to enjoy your stay in beautiful Meaford.

June 22 Harbour Open House

Please come down and join the staff and the Friends of the Meaford Harbour to a day of boating fun. Mingle with the boaters of the harbour, our visitors, and learn a little about the boating lifestyle. Docking demonstrations and information booths will be set up with a little something for everyone. Located near the Harbour Office, from 10am until 2pm.

June 28-July 1 Canada Day Celebrations

Meaford hosts a 4-day event this year, starting on Friday with the Farmer's Market, Saturday with the 2nd annual Soap Box Derby, celebrations in both Leith and Bognor, and a full day of activities in downtown Meaford, complete with a parade, flag raising ceremony and a full line up of musical talent. Fireworks provided by the Kinsmen Club of Meaford begins at dusk. For a full listing of events, visit the Canada Day page.

July 13 Meaford Harbour 5km Run/Walk

Meaford Hospital Foundation hosts their 17th Annual 5km Run/Walk. Race Day Registration 7:45-8:45 AM at the Harbour Pavilion, Race Starts at 9:00 AM Sharp! August 2 Rotary Fish Fry

Rotary Club hosts a fish fry in our harbour pavilion.

August 3 Georgian Sailing Regatta

You won't want to miss coming out to the break wall and watching all the beautiful sailboats coming into our harbour from their annual race. Visitors from all around in a variety of sailboats.

August 24 Lions Club Fish Fry

Lions Club hosts a fish fry at our Harbour pavilion.

Stompin Tom 100 Mile Festival

In its first year, a celebration of Stompin Tom Connors music at the Meaford Harbour, from noon to 8:00 P.M.

We will have both Stompin Tom music sang by locat artists, with a mix of thier own talent. There will be 30 tables set up for local artists, artisans, busionesses, farmers and food booths. All paricipants come from within the 100 mile radius of Meaford. Admission is by donation and we will play rain or shine in the pavillion. Tuesday Antique Car Shows

Starting June 4 and gong through till August 27th, come down to the Rotary Harbour Pavilion and have a look at a variety of beautiful antique cars from all around.

Fridays Farmer's Market 4-7pm

Walk down to our Rotary Harbour Pavilion to see all the wonderful booths filled with local produce and products. Live entertainment and activities for the children.

Licence Requirements

Notice: Due to new legislation all operators of pleasure craft vessels (regardless of size) will be required to have a pleasure craft operator card. As of September 15, 2009 everyone operating a pleasure craft (regardless of size) will require a pleasure craft operator card. Safe Boating manuals can be purchased from the Meaford Harbour office. Book or CD - $20. Call 519-538-2471 or come by the Harbour office at 3 St. Vincent St.
