Chief Administrative Officer:

The CAO is the senior administrator of the Municipality and advises Municipal Council on matters of community and strategic significance and provides corporate leadership to all Municipal Departments through the effective implementation of Council’s direction and policiesAll of the various Municipal Departments report directly to the CAO who is responsible for ensuring the effective operation and delivery of services to the community.

The Municipality's Administrative Structure consists of seven (7) departments:

•  CAO Office, including Economic Development
•  Legislative Services/Clerk
•  Community Services - Parks, Recreation, Arts & Cultural Centre, Museum
•  Operations Services - Transportation, Environmental, Waste Management
•  Financial Services
•  Fire and Safety Services
•  Planning & Building Services- Animal Control, By-law Enforcement, Information Technology
